Stunning relief tile decorated with a stylized design of a veined leafquatrefoil with a central floral. The creamy, vellum glazes in shadesof stone, dusty lilac, heather blue, and marigold are a superlativeand distinctive hallmark of the technical and creative artistry ofthis illustrious maker. The company was founded by thecelebrated ceramist Rufus Keeler.  Better known as CALCO, the company developed a phenomenal array of art tiles decorated with stunning glazes. In 1926, Keeler left CALCO to co-found the legendary MalibuPotteries.
