Markoff Mosaic Tile Corp., Inglewood, CA  1926-1945

This tile was made to be the central tile in a fireplace surround.  It has a recessed abstract motif with high-glazed black and cobalt surrounded by mottled beige and tan.  The glaze is thick and gloppy as it drips down the sides.

7  3/4″ x 7  1/4″ tall x 3/4″ thick
