Van Briggle, Colorado Springs, CO  1901-2012

This antique Van Briggle low bowl has a medium blue matte glaze that gets lighter towards the bottom.  Crazing adds character and the glaze near the top rim has a textured look.   This was made in the 1920′s as evidenced by the darker clay.   Very handsome!

8 1/2″ wide x 2 1/2″ tall

Very good condition; signed.  Glaze anomalies near the rim do not take away from its value.
