Trent Tile Company, Trenton, NJ  1882-1939

This dust-pressed Victorian-style tile has  very glossy, glass like glazing.  The three-dimensional female silhouette is nicely detailed, wisps of hair falling from the bun, beautiful earring, beads etc.  Crazing adds character to this very old tile.   See this in Norman Karlson’s Encyclopedia of American Art Tile, Region 2, page 178.
