San Jose Mission, San Antonio, TX   C1920-1950′s

Charming vintage tile from San Jose Mission depicts a Mexican man playing a guitar while riding his burro thru the countryside.   There are about nine bright glaze colors, both matte and glossy and the glaze covers the edges of the tile.  Has the San Jose logo on the lower left side, the maguey plant.
