Rose Cabat, Tucson, AZ  1940’s – 2015

This is a remarkable and rare vintage Cabat dinner plate.   Most known for her “feelies”, this studio potter also made rustic pieces like this, rumored to be used for her personal use.    It has glossy matte glazing in shades of brown, with a decorative edge.    This was hand thrown and is artist signed.

9 1/2″ wide x 5/8″ deep
