Medmenham Pottery, Marlow Common, Buckinghamshire, England 1898-1906

Established by a German-born sculptor, Conrad Dressler, Medmenham manufactured high-quality, decorative tiles.   Arts and Crafts styling is evident in this wonderful example of their work.  Raised lines separate the glossy glazes and the tree’s roots extend to the edges, so that when combined with more of the same, the pattern keeps flowing.
