Made in Holland  circa 1600’s

Blue and off-white matte glazes cover this very old tile from Holland.   It came from Norman Karlson’s collection (he is the author of books on American art tile).  The surface has crazing and some bubbling from the kiln.   Attractive floral motif and fleur-de-lis decorated corners.
