Wheatley Tile & Pottery, Cincinnati, OH  1880-1932

This is a very pretty insert tile from Wheatley.  Raised lines separate the four matte glaze colors; gray, medium blue, pink and pale mustard.  Crackling or crazing authenticates its age and adds character.
