Calco (California Clay Products), South Gate, CA  1923-1932

A graceful flamingo is depicted on this fantastic vintage Calco relief tile.    It has their iconic polychrome glazing and superior detailing.   Notice the leaf motif that surrounds the bird, and the two yellow tulips at its feet.   This is a treasure!
