Claycraft Potteries, Los Angeles, CA   1921-1939

Claycraft is known for their spectacular scenic tiles, usually depicting images of California.  This tile has two pine trees by the side of road in the mountains.  There’s a lake in the background and a stone wall in the foreground.   It has the dusty, muted glazes that is iconic Claycraft, along with the scored blue sky.
