Harding Black, San Antonio, TX  C1940-1995

As a young man, Harding Black became interested in ceramics while excavating ancient Indian mounds in the Big Bend area of Texas and during his long life created perhaps the largest body of personal glaze research in the United States during the 20th century.    Here are 3 of his glaze samples;  all signed and dated 1983.
