Unknown Tile Maker, circa 1950-1960

Genuine mid-century scenic tile panels are fast becoming harder and harder to find. What makes this fabulous set even more desirable is that they appear to be hand-painted on factory-made “blanks” (plain, unglazed tiles). Peachy-pink, aqua, and jewel shades of purple and green set the scene for the vintage-look swans and water lilies. This colorful panel would make an amazing focal point in any water, tropical, or beach-themed setting! The tiles are marked “Orange-County Tile” but we haven’t been able to find much information about this company.  Also shown is a second panel available for sale.  Contact us for more photos if interested.
