Marblehead Pottery, Marblehead, MA  1904-1936

This wonderful pottery was started as a handicraft program/therapeutic center for the sanitarium that was established in 1904.  The pottery’s wares were glazed in soft matte colors on classical shapes.  This  vintage vase has an interesting glaze, mottled mustard and green on a simple hand-thrown form.
