Roseville Pottery, Roseville, OH  1890-1954

Vintage Roseville pillow vase comes from their Futura line introduced in 1928.   It is not too difficult to see why collectors are enamored with this line.   It was widely viewed as incorporating several of the chief archetypes of Art Deco in American ceramics.   The tiny ‘dent’ on the top edge was done before this piece was glazed.
