Brayton Laguna Pottery, Laguna Beach, CA  1927-1968

Most of Brayton’s tiles were made in in their early years using the raised-line (cuenca) method, with a wide assortment of glazes.  Workmanship is top quality and subjects range from desert plants, cartoon figures and Southwest scenes.    This self-framed vintage tile has images of stylized trees and flowers with mostly dark, glossy glazes.  We also have one with different colors, without the ‘feet’ on the bottom.
