Zanesville Stoneware, Zanesville, OH  1889-2002

These antique pots come from the company’s early Hand-Thrown line.   In the 1920’s Lawrence Pickrull started making the larger urns for ZSC.  They are finished with a hand-mottled grayish buff glaze.   Attractive features.   Some are signed; he retired in 1946.
