Vintage Bauer hand-thrown Carnation jar was made by Matt Carlton.   Glossy cobalt glazing. Matt Carlton was hired by the Bauer Pottery Company to throw pots on the potters wheel. His work was well represented at the Panama-California Exposition in San Diego in 1915-16, and the Bauer Pottery company was awarded a Bronze Medal for its Art Pottery exhibit.

12” tall x 6 1/2” top x 6” base
