This vintage Bauer plate is artistically painted (these colors are fired in not painted on) with a Mexican man taking a siesta at an outdoor market.  Wonderfully detailed and very well executed.   There are about 10 glaze colors against the bright yellow background.   Signed on back by both Bauer and the artist:  Lola Lawrence.
