CALCO Polychrome Peacock Tile

$2,800.00

California Clay Products (CALCO), So. Gate, CA. 1923-1932

Peacock tiles were made by many of the Los Angeles tile companies back in the 1920's to 1030's,  perhaps because peacocks escaped from the LA Arboretum and have been seen for decades walking around the neighborhoods.    This well-made vintage tile has polychrome glazing and wonderful detailing.   Would make an awesome statement in any installation.   The small edge chips could be hidden if framed or installed.

11" tall x 5 1/2" wide x 1" thick.

In very good condition; never set
