Low Serving Bowl/Garden City
Garden City Pottery, San Jose, CA 1902-1987
Garden City's items were dipped by hand into the glaze, rather than sprayed giving each piece a richer color. Pink glaze was added in the 1940's along with other colors to modernize the product lines. This low bowl can be a decorative accent or functional as a serving piece. The smooth outer surface resembles Bauer's Plain Ware.
