This Victorian-style antique tile has a deeply molded floral design. The very glossy deep brown in the recessed areas have a slight contrast with the lighter or perhaps thinner covering on the raised pattern. This tile comes from the collection of Norman Karlson, who researched and wrote books on American Art tiles.
