Polia Pillin Miniature Cup

Before establishing her pottery studio in LA, Polia Pillin took painting and sculpting classes in Chicago. Aside from a brief pottery class, she is mainly a self-taught ceramist. This miniature cup is very delicate and is decorated with dainty little birds. Dark glazes blend together nicely, the glossy surface has some crazing, which is typical of her pieces.
2 1/2" wide x 1 1/2" tall
Good condition; has a small chip inside the top edge and some rough spots along the rim.
