Bauer, Los Angeles, CA 1909-1962
Starting in the 1930's, Matt Carlton combined imaginative designs with bright glazes to produce some truly dazzling hand-thrown pottery. We've seen this shape before, but very rarely with handles. It has a band of ridges around the widest part and glossy jade green glazing.
