Vintage McAfee Wall Pocket
McAfee Pottery, San Gabriel, CA 1940-1950
Sisters Ruth and Grace McAfee began a small pottery in San Gabriel, California as an additiobn to their cactus and succulent nursery so it is rare to find a piece larger than eight inches. Their pottery has a reddish terra cotta clay body and is usually found with solid-color pastel glazes. This lovely piece appears to be hand made with pale turquoise glazing and because of its size it is rarer.
8” tall x 6 1/2” wide x 3 1/2” deep
Great condition
