Mosaic Tile Company, Zanesville, OH  1894-1972

This vintage Mosaic tile has their version of the popular Galleon motif.  The bright glazes are thick and rich with a slight sheen to the finish.  Notice the nice texture of the brown glaze.  The galleon and the white waves are raised on a background of cobalt blue.

6″ square x 3/4″ thick
